About

W h o   a m   I?

I'm a Composer & UX Designer from London, England. Born and raised in a creative family, I've been a musician all my life. I started off playing the piano at 4 years old and then transitioned into songwriting and composing. Being really into movies I studied towards a degree in film and used the skills i learned in University to create music videos for my songs along with creating music for Sync (Visual Media i.e. film, tv, ads). I then studied Google's UX course on Coursera and i'm excited to take the a leap into UX Design, which was something i had always been interested in. I fell in love with the idea of creating something that helps people. I aim to do that with both my music and any app or website that i design.

Currently my career path has been within the music industry,  I write songs, sing, compose Cinematic Modern Classical pieces and produce Hip-Hop and Drill. I've had the pleasure of being able to teach music to children and perform my music all over. The UK, US, Barbados and other caribbean islands! Being able to express myself creatively truly is what gives me life.

Navigating over to UX Design was something that felt natural to me. I realised that I had been pretty much designing visuals with end users in mind for a long time, whether it was storyboarding for a music video or designing the cover art for a song, i found creating something to be a memorable experience for people to be a really important part of who I am. I discussed it with a mentor who happened to work at Google and they told me about Google's Certificate program with Coursera. So i studied up and dove straight into the world of UX
